Case study - Voltia

Announcing the largest deal in Europe, Oct-Nov 2019

Pavel Safranek: External PR Director

Challenge

Voltia, a European e-mobility specialist based in Bratislava wanted to announce its, and at the same time the largest European, deal in the field of last-mile delivery sector – deployment of 400 electrical vans to the French Chronopost, which belongs to the La Poste Group. The company had not communicated professionally abroad until then, that is why they turned to us to use the PR services of our team.

Insight

In two days we jumped on the bandwagon, activated the key journalists in Europe, knew the client and prepared an official announcement. We primarily addressed the press agencies and influential European media such as Politico, from which others receive news.

Result

Thanks to intensive communication, we attracted 45 media in five countries, including France, Germany, Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The biggest success was the article in Slovak mutation of Forbes magazine about the story of a hitherto unknown company Voltia that helps Chronopost France to reduce their environmental footprint in Paris. After several months of hard communication and brand building activities, their eNV200 Voltia was included in the official portfolio of Nissan, which signed a European partnership with the company. Today, we are asked by the key media in Europe (UK, DE, AT, PL) for a comment on current events in e-mobility. Politico, for example, quotes us alongside European Commissioner Šefčovič.
